Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-23. This policy explains what information WebHostLB collects from visitors and customers, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide. When you submit our contact, migration, domain, or sign-up forms, we collect the name, email, phone, business name, and message you give us. When you purchase a service, we additionally collect billing details required to deliver and invoice that service.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we log basic technical data when you visit: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use this only for security monitoring, fraud prevention, and aggregate traffic analysis.

Cookies. See "Cookies and consent" below.

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiries
  • To deliver the services you request
  • To send service notices, invoices, and renewal reminders
  • To improve our offerings (aggregate, anonymized analytics)
  • To comply with applicable law and respond to legitimate legal requests

We do not sell your information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Cookies and consent

We use essential cookies for: language preference (Polylang), session management, and remembering your cookie-consent choice. We do not currently use third-party analytics, advertising, or social-tracking cookies. If that changes, this page and the consent banner will be updated.

You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies for this site, or by contacting us.

4. Data sharing

We share data only with: (a) infrastructure providers required to deliver the services you've purchased (hosting, email, DNS, payment processors), (b) legal authorities when required by valid legal process, (c) successors in the event of a corporate restructuring. All third parties are bound by confidentiality obligations.

5. Your rights (GDPR & equivalent)

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction or deletion; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us at privacy@webhostlb.net for any of the above.

6. Data retention

We retain customer data for the duration of the service relationship plus up to 7 years for tax and legal compliance. Inquiry data from contact forms is retained for up to 24 months unless the inquiry leads to a paid engagement.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards: TLS encryption for data in transit, encrypted backups, restricted-access infrastructure, and regular security audits. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users in the event of a confirmed data breach in accordance with applicable law.
