1. Introduction & scope
WebHostLB (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a web agency based in Beirut, Lebanon, providing web design, managed WordPress hosting, branded business email, domain registration, SEO, e-commerce, care and maintenance plans, site migration, and AI Enablement services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website and services, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to visitors of our website and to customers who engage our services.
2. Information we collect
Contact-form details. When you submit our contact, quote, migration, or sign-up forms (powered by Fluent Forms), we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, business name, and the contents of your message.
Account & billing information. When you purchase a service, we collect the information needed to set up your account, deliver the service, and issue invoices, including billing name, contact details, the services selected, and payment references. We do not store full card numbers; payments are handled through our payment providers.
Server & access logs. Our hosting and security systems automatically record standard technical data when you visit our site or use our services, including your IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, referring pages, and timestamps. These logs are used for security monitoring, abuse prevention, and reliability.
Cookies. We and our analytics provider use a small number of cookies and similar technologies, described in “Cookies & analytics” below.
3. How we use information
- To respond to your inquiries and provide quotes
- To set up, deliver, and support the services you request
- To send service notices, invoices, and renewal reminders
- To secure our website and infrastructure and prevent abuse
- To understand and improve how our website is used, through aggregate analytics
- To comply with applicable law and respond to legitimate legal requests
4. Cookies & analytics
Essential and language cookies. We use essential cookies to keep the site working, to remember your language preference (set by Polylang), and to remember your cookie-consent choice. These cookies are necessary for the site to function and do not track you across other websites.
Google Analytics via Site Kit. We use Google Analytics 4, connected through the Google Site Kit plugin, to understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects anonymous usage information such as pages viewed, approximate location (derived from a truncated IP address), device and browser type, referral source, and on-page interactions. We use this data only in aggregate to improve our content and services; we do not use it to identify you personally. Search Console (also via Site Kit) reports how our pages appear in Google Search and does not set tracking cookies on your browser.
How to opt out. You can control or refuse analytics cookies through your browser settings, through our cookie-consent controls, or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Clearing the cookies for this site in your browser will also reset any analytics and consent cookies.
5. Third parties & processors
We rely on a limited set of trusted providers to operate our website and deliver our services. Each processes data only as needed to provide its service to us:
- Google — analytics and search reporting (Google Analytics 4 and Search Console via Site Kit)
- Payment providers — Whish and OMT, used to collect payments for our services
- Hosting, caching & CDN — our server infrastructure and LiteSpeed Cache (including its optional content delivery network) used to serve and accelerate the website
- Email — the mail systems used to send transactional and service email
- Security & backups — Imunify security and JetBackup / UpdraftPlus backup systems that protect and preserve site data
6. How we share data
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the processors listed above to deliver the services you have requested, with legal authorities where required by valid legal process, and with a successor entity in the event of a corporate restructuring or transfer. All processors are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
7. Data retention
We retain customer account and billing records for the duration of the service relationship and for the period required afterward to meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations. Contact-form inquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for a reasonable period and then deleted. Server and security logs are retained on a rolling basis for security and reliability purposes.
8. Security measures
We protect your information with industry-standard safeguards, including TLS encryption for data in transit, access-restricted infrastructure, server-level security monitoring (Imunify), and regular encrypted backups. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify affected users of a confirmed personal-data breach in accordance with applicable law.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate data, or ask us to delete data we no longer need to retain. To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@webhostlb.net. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
10. International visitors
We operate from Lebanon. If you access our website or services from outside Lebanon, your information may be processed in Lebanon and by the providers listed above, which may be located in other countries. By using our website and services, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in these locations.
11. Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. They are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
12. Changes to this policy
