1. Introduction & scope

WebHostLB (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a web agency based in Beirut, Lebanon, providing web design, managed WordPress hosting, branded business email, domain registration, SEO, e-commerce, care and maintenance plans, site migration, and AI Enablement services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website and services, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to visitors of our website and to customers who engage our services.

2. Information we collect

Contact-form details. When you submit our contact, quote, migration, or sign-up forms, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, business name, and the contents of your message.

WhatsApp. Our site includes a WhatsApp contact button and links. If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, that conversation takes place on WhatsApp’s platform (operated by Meta) and is subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy policy and terms, not this one.

Domain search & registration. Our domain-availability search tool submits your search directly to our domain-registration partner, Namecheap, to check availability and, if you choose to proceed, to register the domain. That transaction and any information you provide during it are handled under Namecheap’s own privacy policy.

Account & billing information. When you purchase a service, we collect the information needed to set up your account, deliver the service, and issue invoices, including billing name, contact details, the services selected, and payment references. We do not store full card numbers; payments are handled through our payment providers.

Server & access logs. Our hosting and security systems automatically record standard technical data when you visit our site or use our services, including your IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, referring pages, and timestamps. These logs are used for security monitoring, abuse prevention, and reliability.

Cookies. We use a small number of cookies, described in “Cookies” below.

We rely on a limited set of trusted providers to operate our website and deliver our services:

• WhatsApp (Meta) — if you message us via our WhatsApp button
• Namecheap — domain availability search and registration
• Payment providers — Whish and OMT, used to collect payments for our services
• Hosting, caching & CDN — our server infrastructure and caching layer used to serve and accelerate the website
• Email — the mail systems used to send transactional and service email
• Security & backups — security and backup systems that protect and preserve site data

6. How we share data

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the providers listed above to deliver the services you have requested or requested to use, with legal authorities where required by valid legal process, and with a successor entity in the event of a corporate restructuring or transfer.

7. Data retention

We retain customer account and billing records for the duration of the service relationship and for the period required afterward to meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations. Contact-form inquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for a reasonable period and then deleted.

8. Security measures

We protect your information with industry-standard safeguards, including TLS encryption for data in transit, access-restricted infrastructure, server-level security monitoring, and regular encrypted backups. We will notify affected users of a confirmed personal-data breach in accordance with applicable law.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law — including, for individuals in the European Economic Area (EEA) or UK, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request erasure of data we no longer need to retain; restrict how we process your data in certain circumstances; receive a copy of your data in a portable, machine-readable format; and object to processing based on our legitimate interests, including direct marketing. We process your data on the basis of your consent, the performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing our business, or compliance with a legal obligation, depending on the activity.
